The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is set to launch in India on June 18, positioning itself as a competitor to the Xiaomi 14 Civi. This new smartphone will be powered by Moto’s artificial intelligence, Moto AI, and will be available for purchase on the e-commerce platform Flipkart.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is scheduled to launch in India on June 18, as announced by China’s Lenovo-owned smartphone brand. This device marks the third addition to the Motorola Edge series, joining the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion. It will be available in three Pantone validated colors – Peach Fuzz, Forest Grey, and Wood. Peach Fuzz will have a frosted glass finish, Forest Grey will boast a vegan leather texture, and the Wood option will feature a back cover made from real wood.
In line with the AI trend, the smartphone will support Moto AI, Motorola’s proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) features, including Magic Canvas. Key specifications have been revealed through a microsite on Flipkart, confirming AI features such as AI adaptive stabilization and 100x AI super zoom.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, offering a peak brightness of 2500 nits and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Motorola plans to offer three years of OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates. Additionally, the device will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage, priced starting from Rs 42,999 and available for purchase from June 20.
